Working area and cutting precision

The 250 mm long blade is made of SK5 spring steel. This material is characterized by high strength, flexibility, and wear resistance: the blade does not bend under load and retains its factory sharpness for a long time. Hardened teeth with a 6 TPI (six teeth per inch) density and a triangular ground surface easily handle fibrous, wet wood. The hacksaw cuts smoothly, doesn't get caught in the grain, and leaves a clean cut, allowing the cut to heal quickly and prevent rot.

The folding mechanism features a secure lock that prevents the blade from folding accidentally during work or opening during transport.
